Gói is sent by his mother to market to sell their only cow, Old Skjölda, but trades her for three “magic beans” instead. Overnight, the beans grow into a towering stalk leading to a giant’s castle in the clouds. Gói climbs up, outwits the sleeping giant, and returns home with treasures, among them a hen that lays golden eggs and a self-playing harp. His adventure restores his family’s fortune and transforms their humble home into a place of wonder.

A story about five people who became friends as adults. They are all in the their early 40s and struggle to find meaning in their lives. They haven't seen each other since the last reunion was somewhat of an aggressive altercation. One thing they all have in common is the feeling of not having experienced enough.
